Holiday studio with private balcony-terrace
Gilbert and Evelyne welcome you all year round in their grade listed house situated in the heart of Orbe’s old town for personalised stays ranging from one to several nights or weeks. The house is across the Banneret Fountain on the Market Square, in a quiet spot closed to local shops and offers views on the Alps.
The studio with en-suite bathroom has a fully equipped kitchen and gives access to a private large balcony-terrace with garden furniture, ideal to take your breakfast, weather permitting.
The studio is non-smoking, however we allow smoking outside on the terrace. Pets are not allowed.
Studio
The room can host up to three people. It has a comfortable king size bed which can be arranged as two twin beds on request.
A cot for baby/ toddler up to three years old or a folding single bed (180x 80 cm) can be provided with bedding on request free of charge.
Access to WIFI is provided and there is a satellite TV and a radio.
Living room
There is a living room outside the studio that is for the full use of our guests.
You will find books, various magazines, and board games to occupy down times. Various leaflets and documentation on the region are also at your disposal to prepare your excursions in the region.
A closet outside the studio can be used to store any empty luggage.
We try to think of the little details and things that might come in handy, therefore an iron and ironing board as well as shoe polish are available to our guests.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a hydro massage shower. Bathrobes, towels and individual slippers are provided to make your stay comfortable. There is a hairdryer, make-up mirror and an adaptor (Europe to Switzerland).
An adapted shower seat can be provided on request for people with accessibility needs and a toilet seat for children.
Kitchen and dining area
There is a living room outside the studio that is for the full use of our guests.

Breakfast
We will discuss your breakfast requirements on arrival. We provide a breakfast basket that we leave in the morning by the studio door.
We offer a comprehensive continental breakfast : bread, butter, yoghurt, jam, honey, chocolate, milk, tea, coffee, cheese, cured meats and fruit juice. Produces are locally source where possible.
Eggs and fruits available upon request. An egg cooker can be found in the kitchen.

It is possible to get breakfast when staying for the week. Price available upon request.
Additional costs for weekly stays:
- Electricity (individual meter) 0.35 CHF per kWh
- City tax of CHF 2.00 per person per day (for children, please see here)
- The use of the washing machine and dryer is available at an extra cost.
- A CHF 100.00 cash deposit will be requested on arrival and paid back upon departure.
- Upon booking, you will be requested to pay the initial CHF140.00 via bank transfer.
